If Step 3 has a red circle, with an exclamation mark, in the Is Valid column of a chemical, it means the chemical is either missing required information or the chemical has been inactivated or deleted from the Master Chemical List and is no longer available as a selection.
To view the Chemical that is Invalid, click on the Chemical Name or the Edit Icon. If the chemical has been inactivated or deleted from the Master Chemical list, a yellow and red statement will be visible at the top of the Chemical information screen.
If this is the case, return to the Chemical List in Step 3 and Delete the chemical with the Delete icon and re-add, How do I add a chemical?.
If no yellow and red statement is present within the Chemical page, add missing information as needed.
Also, if there was a Chemical Fee Exemption (CFE) on the deleted Chemical, a new CFE will need to be added for each newly added Chemical. Chemical Fee Exemption Request
