The sale of a business is considered a Substantive Change OAR 837-085-0100 and is required to be reported in CHS Manager or to CR2K within 30 days of the sale.
- Login to CHS Manager
- Go to Facilities/List Facilities

Select your facility from the list

Click the Change Facility Status button at the top

Answer Yes to "Was this facility sold to another Company but is still doing business at the same location?". Fill in the New Owner Name, New Owner Phone, New Owner Email and Date of Sale, then click Save.
The Facility will then be in Inactive status and no longer viewable in the List of Facilities for the associated Username.If the facility being sold stored Hazardous Substances in reportable quantities for 24 hours or longer, there may be a final invoice issued to the previous facility owner after the Facility Status is changed to Sold.
