If your facility previously reported that they are no longer storing hazardous substances at a reportable quantity but also received a reminder notice for Annual Reporting, please read the information below to change your notification settings.
To stop receiving the reporting notifications, log into your facility's CHS Manager account and submit an annual report stating in Step 2, the facility is still exempt from reporting. (No hazardous substances stored at a reportable quantity during the reporting period.)
After reporting you are below reportable quantities for three years in a row, your facility will be moved to an inactive status and the regulatory point of contact will no longer receive notices requiring the facility to report.
NOTE: If at any point during the calendar year, a hazardous substance is stored at your facility for more than 24 hours, you are required to report the substance as a substantive change. You are required to report substantive changes within 30 days. To report the storage of substances, edit Step 2, delete the date and uncheck the box.
Then complete Step 3, and add each Chemical being stored at a reportable quantity.
