If a Chemical is being added from the Master Chemical List and the NFPA codes do not match the Safety Data Sheet (SDS), a request for the chemical to be added to the Master Chemical List will need to be initiated.
Follow the steps below to request the chemical be added:
1. While in a report, and in the Chemical Details section of Step 3, click on the Chemical Description tab
2. Click on the Request Chemical not found in lookup link
3. Upload the SDS by selecting Choose File and selecting the SDS from a location on the computer. The SDS must be in .pdf format and under 5mb in size
4. Fill in the Notes box, identifying the chemical and indicate that the NFPA codes are different than what is in the master chemical list. Click Save
Leave the report in Initiate state until you receive the email response from the CR2K Chemical Specialist.
